I''ve been stalking the Pricescope forums for a couple months now and decided to contact Brian Gavin after reading many praises for his diamonds and seeing the amazing photos posted. The whole process took about a month...and it was worth it! Brian fielded many long confused calls from me as I tried to understand the design process...and Lesley answered all my long emails and comfort me through my diamond purchasing fears. The only clue guiding me was that the shank should "widen to meet the diamond" similar to the Lucida from Tiffanys. Armed with only that idea....I searched the web for pictures. I sent a few pictures I gathered to Brian and Lesley and asked them to come up with something unique.....the below pictures are the final product of the project. It''s a 1.123 H/SI1 Brian Gavin Signature Hearts & Arrows diamond, with a Split/Open shank, 8 Brian Gavin Melees (We agreed upon 6, but he surprised me with 2 more!), and a secret sapphire.
I would''ve posted these earlier, but I was afraid that somehow she would stumble upon this forum and see the pictures of the ring before I got a chance to surprise her. Well...It''s Monday morning...and I''m going to propose this afternoon in a few hours...so I thought I would take this chance to post the pictures for all to see....sorta as a way to relieve some stress and calm my nerves....
