Some of you might (or might not) remember that I bought a pair of diamond studs for my daughter, to make a long story short they were lost, also happy to say the insurance co. came through so I could replace them with no problem. Well here are the specs of the Round BGD H&A stones in a 14K WG setting with La Pousette backs:
AGS-1040366640047 Brian Gavin H&A 0.337 I VS2 57.1 60.7 4.49 4.54 2.74
AGS-1040366640044 Brian Gavin H&A 0.335 I SI1 56.1 61.3 4.47 4.49 2.75
Lesley was fantastic to work with and picked out the pairs. They do an amazing packaging job. When I went over to FedEx to pick them up at the Depot, it took me 5 minutes, just to go through all the layers of packaging, and there they were! I opened them up in the FedEx Depot and they sparkled like crazy, should have brought in my sunglasses -ha, ha. I brought a loupe with me and looked at them in the car in good sunlight, then I need sunglasses. The 3 prong martini setting is really cool.
Just a note about the LaPousette backs. I was not sure what to expect, but they were small and dainty. I loved that they could slide tightly on the post, but there was no way they were coming off once it hit the groove in the post. I would recommend all who are considering studs to consider the LaPousette''s, they are small and dainty, and really do the job by holding on.
Enjoy the picture, hope to have others later in the day.
