My Co-worker''s New BGD Halo

So I have to keep this VERY vague as I have no idea if my co-workers soon to be FI (fingers crossed) hangs out on PS. Needless to say my co-worker and his GF have been in a committed relationship for 5-10 years. (Trying to be very vague, so bear with me, don''t want to say exact years) They went ring shopping to get an idea of what she likes and she fell in love with Halos.

That being said my co-worker came to me knowing I was a little diamond crazy and was fretting b/c he saw mall (icky) prices and what kind of crappy stones he could by with his budget. He was not happy. (I will note his budget is great, so it wasn''t like his expectations were way off here, just very over priced rings at the chain stores)

Long and short of it is that I talked co-worker into trusting me and my prior experience working with BGD, and was able to get 400000x better cut, larger, quality ring than he thought possible. And he is trilled with the outcome so far.

We got pics today, and the ring will be here tomorrow. (Beauty of it is I work with him everyday, and its being sent to the office

I get to take the sneak peek before he locks it away until he proposes....) The pictures are stunning. I talked to Lesley last night after the ring was completed and she assures me the ring is just stunning.

I am trilled I could be a part in helping my friends get through this special experience and can''t wait to see her face when she finally gets it on her finger

This stone has a really cool pattern to it, and I am so glad Lesley sourced it for my co-worker. He specifically asked for a squarish cushion opposed to a elongated one.

The setting is a custom PLT BGD halo with his signature stones in the halo as well as the shank. Its going to be a stunner for sure.

haha, I can barely contain myself waiting to see it in person. I needed to share with someone... Its been so hard hanging out with my co-worker and his GF outside of work and not just sitting there with this dumb "I have a shinny secret" look on my face every time I talk to her.

Well thx! Truth be told it was as much fun for me as it was my friend... he now thinks I am officially off my rocker. You should have heard the IS convo and me trying to explain leakage in relation to the image being red. It got to the point where he just said "TBJumper... you know what I want, just make it happen" He was kidding of course, well kinda.

Heck I don''t mind at all, and if his GF ever stumbles onto the tread later, she will be proud of the homework he did to get such a smoking deal.

The ring is PLT and has an additional .75ct ( I think... wouldn''t bet my life on that number until I go back and check) in the setting, and the cost of the setting came in under 2k. The craftsmanship is just incredible. Lesley said the milgraining came out simply divine.
