A 136 carat rough “honey yellow” diamond was recovered by workers of the Udachninsky Mining Company, a subdivision of Russia’s primary diamond company, ALROSA. The rare and irregular shaped rough diamond was found in the remote Siberian province of Yakutia. The diamond, which has not yet been appraised, measures approximately 33 by 23 millimeters.
