This suite of turquoise and diamond jewelry recently sold at Christie’s online-only sale of Elizabeth Taylor’s legendary jewelry collection. The online component was part of Christie’s larger sale, which included Taylor’s most iconic jewels, clothing, art and memorabilia. The entire sale achieved a total of $156.8 million setting multiple world records. The jewelry sale is now considered the most valuable in auction history.
The turquoise suite below represents the diversity of Taylor’s incredible collection. The cuff and earrings were made by two different designers, illustrating her keen eye for design, quality and matching. She would often buy or commission a piece and then later create a suite.
