Irene Neuwirth is known for her vivid gem concoctions featuring colored stones like chrysoprase, pink opal and moonstone. At the urging of Barneys, the designer has launched her first diamond line, which combines her fresh simplicity with dazzling sparkle. The collection showcases bezeled rose cut diamonds with pave in 18k rose and yellow gold. Colored stones are still in the mix, but with added diamonds to highlight bolder gems. “It’s still my style, but it’s upped a level. It’s not exclusively diamonds, there are just more diamonds and bigger diamonds than normal. I’m also doing engagement rings, which I started making for friends like Vogue editor Lawren Howell, and then it spiraled from there,” said Irene Neuwirth in an interview with Barneys. From couture rose cut diamond earrings to classic diamond eternity bands, the line has much to offer.
