Jewelers of America is offering scholarships to employees of JA Member stores who are at least 18 years old. Scholarships fund up to 80% of education costs from providers including GIA, Diamond Council of America (DCA), Jewelers Education Foundation of American Gem Society (JEF), and Gemmological Association of Great Britain (GEM-A). Scholarships are also availble for JA’s Bench Professional Certification program.
“Our scholarship program makes professional development from top industry education an affordable, realistic option for our member firms and their employees. With funding of up to 80% of program fees, it’s a valuable benefit that often far exceeds the cost of annual membership,” said David Peters, Director of Education & Member Services.
