We’ve accumulated over a decade worth of fabulous additions from our members. The community at PriceScope is like no other and it’s awesome to get more chances to cheer for each other!
Throwback Thursday is posted each week on the PriceScope Facebook Page. On the last Thursday of the month, we will share them all in one post so that everyone can enjoy them.
July is about to be in the rearview and it’s hard to grasp how quickly this summer is going. We are so lucky that we have consistency in the amount of glorious eye candy that is posted in the PriceScope forums. Here are the throwbacks for July 2021:
Yfzcentral shared this gorgeous ring with us in 2011 and it’s still a beauty. Making a custom ring for a proposal is always super lovely, and this one is a brilliant example. Yfzcentral designed this ring and got Whiteflash’s assistance to make it a reality. Whiteflash really knocked it out of the park with this ring. The halo around this oval makes it sing, and the length of the oval makes her long, lean fingers look lovely! Beautifully done, we hope that this ring is still bringing a lot of joy 10 years later!
Sundial shared this Blue Nile five-stone diamond ring also in 2011. Sundial wanted a five-stone and was hoping for one for her 35th anniversary that was still one year off. Her husband decided that after she endured a couple of eye surgeries that he would go ahead and gift her with this for the 34th anniversary! We love that kind of thoughtful surprise, and he did a great job. It’s been 10 years, we hope that she is still grinning over this beautiful surprise.
Signature Ideal Diamonds
Woofmama shared the Double D ring in 2013. The ring is named the Double D because both of her sons have D names, and they both have January birthdays. This mother’s ring is representative of them both and is gorgeous to boot. She found the garnet first and carried it around for three months while she was searching for the perfect setting. She nailed that choice, this platinum setting with the side baguettes is magnificent! What a way to celebrate your beloved sons! Love it!
Center Stone: Red Malaya Asscher
Side Stones: Baguettes
Metal: Platinum
Smith1940 originally shared this amazing art deco-inspired bracelet in 2012. Smith1940 spins a delightful visual in the tale of getting this bracelet. She used money that she inherited from her Grandparents and bought this English gold and diamond bracelet closer to the area that she is from in England. Describing it as Dickensian and like Diagon Alley, I immediately knew what it looked like and what the atmosphere is. That’s awesome, I hope that she is still loving this bracelet. She even offered to help Woofmama (as seen above) to find a way to get it replicated. I am not sure if that ever went through, but more of this in the world wouldn’t be wrong.
Ncpalafox shared this glorious engagement ring in 2013. This is another Whiteflash stunner. As with the July 1st post, this entry starts out before the question has been popped, and then *spoiler alert* in the comments we get the hand shot. The YES was skillfully procured and there is a photo booth to capture the moment. I love the inclusion of the scope shots in this post.
