Jewels of the Week: June 2021

Each Friday on the PriceScope Facebook page we celebrate the Jewel of the Week! From Show Me the Bling, one recently posted jewelry piece belonging to a PriceScope member is chosen to be featured. We love this tradition, and we love getting to enjoy all that new bling! These were the Jewels of the Weeks for June 2021.

June was busting out all over, and we were loving all the new pieces that PriceScopers were adding to their collections. This group has the best taste!

JUNE 4, 2021- 5.48ct OEC DISCO BALL DIAMOND RING

Tourmaline shared this amazing 5.48ct Old European Cut Diamond ring with us. WOW, I am sure you could hear the thud of my jaw hitting the ground around the world. The light that this stunning diamond displays is enough to make you want to dance in it. She says that it makes her heart sing, can it really be any better than that? She is considering a new setting for it, but that diamond is a star it will look amazing no matter what she chooses. I love it as it is!

JUNE 11, 2001- ANTIQUE OVAL IN ART DECO DUPLICATION

Art Deco ring with smaller diamonds on top in silver tone on a wooden table top, on the bottom is the new ring which has a similar art deco shape but the diamonds are larger and fill the space more fully. It is on a white table.

Elizat shared the sensational Antique Oval in an art deco duplication by Sako with us. This ring blew my mind, the way that the diamonds fill the space is magnificent. Elizat had an art deco ring that she loved for years. She managed to get an oval old cut diamond that was a true beauty. She asked Sako to take the old ring that she loved so much and recreate it with the oval, making a more elevated and refined version of the ring. Whoa, did Sako ever step up. This ring is glorious, it is an amazing elevation of the art deco ring without losing that style and grace. The East-West setting really fills the setting in an inspired way. Love it!

18kt white and yellow gold
.47 cts of old cuts in the frame.

Sapphire ring with a diamond halo, long fingers with long red nails. There is a blue sky and greenery behind the hand.

Cushioncutnut shared this gorgeous Sapphire and Diamond ring. This explosion of blue and white looks amazing on her hand. She said that it made her feel like royalty wearing it and undeserving. I absolutely see why she feels like royalty, but I believe that PriceScopers do deserve fabulous jewelry that they love. Enjoy what you can out of this life, as long as you are not harming anyone. I hope that you can own your deservingness and just live in the joy this brings you when you look at it!

JUNE 25, 2021 MOISSANITE AND AMETHYST RESETTING

A large white center stone with two smaller purple stones in a dark blue ring box with a gold clasp for the box. On a wooden table top.

WindyCitySparkle shared this resetting with Moissanite and two Amethysts. This setting belonged to her beloved grandmother and the diamonds were removed and given to different relatives. That left the empty setting, and WindyCitySparkle put this together using moissanite and amethysts (her aunt’s birthstone) and created a gift that is gorgeous and super meaningful for her aunt that has been very helpful in WindyCitySparkle’s life. This honestly may be the only time we have ever chosen a moissanite piece but jewelry stories are wonderful and this is a great one.

STATISTICS:

7mm Moissanite
2 Amethysts

Thank you for sharing your magnificent jewels with us and helping to celebrate PS members’ pieces every week! We look forward to seeing the newest additions to your collections in Show Me the Bling! forum.
