This shimmering butterfly ring was gifted to Beyoncé by Jay Z back in 2016. Known as the Papillon ring, it was designed by jeweler Glenn Spiro.
The Papillon ring is encrusted with a purple frame and green body. Made of a mixture of bold rich emerald and the rare tsavorite gemstones. Originally the jewelry piece was made as a brooch, however, it was adapted into a ring when it was found that the wings, unencumbered by mounts, could easily be encouraged to flutter.
In 2018, Beyoncé gave her Papillon ring to the London V&A museum where it is now on display for tourists to see.
Beyoncé’s Papillon Ring is valued at over $95 000.
The Diamond and Gold Ankh Pendant Necklace was worn by Beyoncé in her ‘Don’t Hurt Yourself’ music video from her award-winning album titled, Lemonade.
The ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic symbol known as the ankh symbol is translated into the word, formation. ‘Formation’ is the most popular word in the entire Lemonade album. – It’s the symbolism for us.
Beyoncé’s large pieces of jewelry at the 2016 VMAs were designed by Lorraine Schwartz. Who we know is absolutely loved by Beyoncé. From the dangling earrings to the rings on Beyoncé’s fingers, Schwartz went all out.
The statement dangling earrings are valued at an estimated $1.8 million. The pair of dangling earrings were made of pink diamonds mixed with a large portion of emerald and tourmalines. Her jewelry look didn’t stop there, Beyoncé paired her dangling earrings with a 12-carat pink diamond ring worth approximately $9 million.
Lorraine Schwartz was also featured in Beyoncé’s Black is King documentary. The necklace contains several shapes like oval, square, and circles which showcases the designer’s incredible range and creativity. The necklace weighs approximately 200-carats of diamonds in total and features an array of different diamond shapes hanging like a fringe. The necklace exhibits a 32-carat cushion, a 24-carat pear shape, a 14-carat Asscher, and a 22-carat round.
Lorraine Schwartz also designed and created Beyonce’s 24-carat engagement ring which Jay Z used to propose to Beyoncé back in 2008. Beyoncé’s diamond engagement ring is worth over $5 million.
