I am in the process of another project and searching for stones.

I want to create a cuff with 2 old cut diamond on the end of the cuff... similar to the ones that Grace sells, see below.

the stone dont have to match exactly. Will consider differ t stones at each end....and the colour- any really.....warm or white looking is good. Once I have one stone, I will choose another to make it work.

No specific budget as I know these stones are increasing... but maybe between $500-800?? For each stone.

ACC
Old mine
Oval
Pear
Marquise

Hi Greg, I do have a paid of old cut stones but they are a tad smaller - 0.3-0.35. Would you be interested or is it too small? Naturally, they would be at the lower end of your budget

Ou, fun project! Be sure to price out the cost of the metal content before buying the stones. I wanted to do exactly what you are planning, but with the width of the band that I wanted, the metal content would have been too pricey. That said, I have two pairs of old cuts for sale. Neither pair is perfection, but they are no duds either.

One is 0.9tcw, roughly 0.45 and 0.35 and although they face up the same, one is much shallower than the other. The deeper one is a great performer, the shallower one is average.

The other pair is a bit overbudget but much larger at 0.89ct each. The pair is a mismatch for shape; cushion and a round. I wanted 950 for each (0.89ct each) but could wiggle a bit . These are awesome stones for a smallish budget. Both face up large for old cuts, so a bit too shallow for ideal light return. But still suuper sparkly. 679998

If interested here's a listing of mine on LT.

HI there, Liza

You have are some lovely stones!!! I would consider these for earrings, but they are a little too out of similar for me to work with.

thank you though...

I have an approximate cost for the metal... and now considering step cuts instead of old cuts.
So.. the older cuts are more going to be for earrings.

Sounds like a great plan!

Sorry for threadjack, but I'm trying to find a match for my 4.9mm to 5.1mm old mine cut. Just in case anyone has one available :)

Let me measure how big mine are..

Ok, just got them measured - I have one 4mm, two 3.7mm and one 3.5mm.

Let me get some photos done

Umm, just realized that I actually have one more loose 3.5mm, lol

Looks like they would actually make a whole 5 stone layout

once i see the pics, i might consider the 3.5mm stones as stud earrings, unless you want t have them for your 5 stone!!

Ummm, I will pull this back. I was collecting them for a five stone, but gave up finding the 5th stone, and now found it on my own lap. So silly!!! I was actually sure that it would not fit size wise, but it does!

Go you!!! Well done!!
