Hi everyone!
One of my very good friends has upgraded her engagement ring and so she has consigned her original ring with Jewels by Erica Grace.
The diamond is 0.915ct, E color, VS1 clarity, and AGS0 cut quality. It was purchased from Blue Nile and is one of their Signature Ideal branded stones. The diamond scores 0.6 on the HCA. I have seen this stone many times and it is gorgeous. It has longer lower halves, which combined with the colorless grade makes for a blazing white diamond!
My friend is selling the diamond set into the platinum solitaire mounting that she had custom made by a local jeweler. The setting is gorgeous and elegant and very finely crafted. There is also a matching wedding band.
The diamond would presently retail for between $7800 and $8400, and the platinum mounting and band would easily cost another $1500. My friend is asking $5450 for the set. Needless to say, this is a very good deal for such a rare diamond. My friend will also consider any and all offers.
I have attached some photos that were taken by the lovely ladies at JBEG. I have also attached the appraisal by Dave Atlas, the results of the HCA, and the details from the lab report. The original report will accompany the diamond when purchased.
