Also, apologies for my hairy knuckles! :P After the proposal I will get a lot more shots with an actual DSLR instead of these just point and shoot pics as they really don't do it justice.

v ery pretty! can''t wait for the post-proposal hand shots!!!

Very nice ring. Please post hand shots on HER hand!

Congrats!
You bet. I''m also doing a lot of study about how to take a GOOD photo of rings. The point and shoot camera''s just frustrate me and when I don''t have to be so secrative about it all your all gaurenteed a slew of great shots with proper light, backgrounds and focus (and hands) :)

I''d just also like to thank the authors of the diamond knowledge base here. I was |--| this close to buying a Tiffani & Co ring when I came accross and fully read all 50 odd "diamond tutorial" pages on this site. As a result I now have one of the best rings I''ve ever seen and got it at a fantastic price too. Wandering into a bricks & morter place the other day I was mortified with what their "signature collections" were! Some were grossley shallow cut, others were VERY cloudy and one looked like it had been hit by a hammer right in the middle! The more I look at the ring I got the more I appreciate it and all the advice on here I got. Thank You!! :)

really pretty ring!

how beautiful! congratulations and good luck!

(and come back with more pictures after the proposal!)

Time alone + beautifully sunny day + proper DSLR + some learning on how to take diamond shots + rose petals + the above ring.... == Awesome Shots!

Beautiful ring and awesome pictures!!

Very lovely!

It''s a beautiful classic. Good luck popping the question.

Wow, it looks gorgeous!

Well as I said I would, here are the hand shots everyone was asking for. The entire planned day and night went off without a hitch and she had NO idea I was going to propose until I did and of course said yes :)

The ring fitted absolutely perfectly and she adores it saying that "it''s HUGE and shinny". Anyway, here are the hand shots on her hand that I made sure had been professionally manicured that day...
