1.14 Solasfera Engagement ring - on my new fiance''s finger :)

This journey's took a year of researching and saving...but I finally pulled the trigger and proposed to my girlfriend of 2 years during our vacation in Costa Rica last week.

I proposed to my girlfriend on our balcony at the Arenal Observatory lodge in Costa Rica in view of a surprisingly active volcano

She loves the ring, and every now and again, I''d catch her maneuvering it every which way to catch the light just right. This Solasfera delivered on every promise it made. We''ve pretty much agreed that diffuse candle light is the single best light source to appreciate the sparkle in this ring, and boy does it sparkle!!!

It took a little explaining to her parents (who are Taiwanese) how a 1c G/VS2 was going on her finger instead of say a 1.5 or 2c...but once they saw the way it sparkled - they were sold as well

I have seen a lot of fire shots on here, heck, I''ve taken a lot of fire shots, and I have NEVER seen one like this. Awesome, just totally awesome!

I have had my Solasfera for about 18 months and the way the sparkle just doesn''t quit continues to amaze me.
You will be glad you went for quality of cut over getting the carat weight a little bigger.
