1.2 Carat SI1 vs 1.5 Carat SI2 (Both I Color)

My Wife is looking to buy a pair of earings. She likes bigger size.

1.2 Carat SI1 vs 1.5 Carat SI2 (Both I Color)

Which one of the above is a better diamond. My wife prefers 1.5Carat SI2, but when I read online/visited a few good stores, they do not recommend SI2 at all. What do u guys think

We can't help without more info about the cut (certificates, angles, etc). Some SI2s are great for earrings/pendants, and others are horrible. It completely depends on the individual stones.

I had a great SI2 where the jeweler was able to hide the flaw with the setting. We would have to see pics. The SI1 might end up looking worse.
