This is a ring no longer sold by Blue Nile since they downgraded the quality of their melee. The ring is 18kt white gold with 1/2 ctw of H VS2 melee - very clean, very whie.

Size 8.25. I'm guessing this could be sized one size in each direction, but no more. Very pretty, very twinkly.

$800 Buyer to pay all shipping fees. No returns.

Offering 10% off - $720. A ring similar to this is currently for sale on BN's site with MUCH lower grade stones (I SI2) for $1160. To get the same quality melee as is in the ring for sale (H VS2), you normally have to buy the platinum version, which, even on sale is $1352 - regularly $1690.

No matter how you cut it, this is a great deal for a very nice quality ring.

@mrs-b, Do you happen to know the mm width of the band? Are the diamonds around 3 points each?

Hi @kindred

Yes, the diamonds are 3 pts each (2mm) and I believe the ring, overall, is either 2.2mm or 2.5mm. Either way,it has lovely presence while still being a slender ring.

Last reduction - $650

This quality ring is no longer available on BN, and, since Blue Nile's sale has ended, the most comparable rings are either the 1/2 ct pave band in platinum with the same quality melee as in the ring I'm selling (H VS), for $1690, or the white gold version in 18kt, now back up to $1450. The melee in the 18kt white gold version BN is now selling, tho, is I SI2 - so - a big drop.

I can't recall exactly what this ring was listed at before I bought it (new from BN during a 'discontinued stock - limited sizes' sale), but I believe it was either $1500 or $1550. So I'm selling it now for roughly 40% of its original listed price.

The ring is in excellent condition having been bought on a whim and very rarely worn and would be a great stacker or wedding ring for anyone looking for a white gold set,

Beautiful ring, I wish it as a size 5.5! I hope someone snatches it up this week!

Thanks, @CBPearllover :))

To be honest, I'm kind of surprised this one didn't fly out the door, but fingers crossed for the days ahead!

Withdrawing this from sale. I just received an offer for $400. H VS 1/2 ctw melee in 18kt white gold. Yeah - well, if that's where we are on this, then selling it isn't worth it to me.

I'm sorry, you got low-balled@mrs-b. It looks beautiful. I would have jumped at it but I am so indecisive about what direction I am taking at the moment.

Ended up not withdrawing it, but have returned the price to $850, which is still only 55% of what I paid for it. It can sit on Loupe Troop eternally. Anyone who buys it would still be getting a bargain. In the meantime, I'm going to wear it and enjoy it. :))

Thanks @kindred - I appreciate the comments. :wavey:

Like I said in my email. It's a nice ring but what it's worth to you may not be what it's worth to another person. While it has higher quality diamonds the ring is sized to big for me and I prefer yellow or rose gold. I made an offer you declined, I complimented the ring and wished you good luck on your sale. Your post is in poor taste

Singleice - I left a fairly scathing response to your post but have since deleted it. I don't agree with argumentative back and forth on threads, and won't be drawn into it here.

You are of course correct that only you can say what value a piece has to you. I, on the other hand, am the only person who can say whether your offer was acceptable. It was not. Given that my ring cannot be sized - as stated in the listing - and given that it's not yellow or rose gold, which apparently you prefer, I'm simply surprised you wasted both your time and mine in making such a strange offer.

I wish you well in your search.

I think it is a beautiful band, but is too big to resize to my finger. yes that offer was too low.

Hi is this available? (My ering is platinum. Worried about scratching) How high does this sit? Thanks

Hi @mrs-b, I'm going to message you through LT.

@stonewell - !!! HI!!!!!

I've missed you! Welcome back, even if you're just passing through!

I hope all is well with you - I asked Amy if she'd spoken to you recently and we had a 'I wonder how she is?' chat about you.

Sending many warm thoughts your way and lots of hugs! ox

Hello @mrs-b!! *waves* Thank you! I’ve missed you too and am trying to catch up on everything. Congrats on selling the band - I regret missing this wonderful piece. I cannot wait to read through the marvelous things you’ve worked on during my hiatus!

Just wanted to say that I had such a wonderful interaction with @mrs-b for this sale. The ring is exactly as she described it, and as represented in her photos, and our correspondence was friendly and timely. Very happy with the entire transaction. Thanks again, @mrs-b!

Thanks for the comments, @lkolarik! It was a real pleasure and I hope your new ring gives you much joy going forward. I know it's not a huge ring, but the quality of the diamonds makes it pretty sparkle-intensive, and I think it looks lovely paired with an e-ring, or worn alone if you want just a touch of bling.

Enjoy - and thanks! :wavey:
