I think he should buy as is, that setting is gorgeous, the whole thing is gorgeous!!! I can't imagine a better setting than that and the stone is amazing, and why pay for a new setting anyway that will be very expensive and then fees to have someone set it as well, his work is all done for him right here

Just to pile on.. That setting new is ~$4,000. This is a steal!

I agree! Buy it as it is...that is a great deal with the setting (if she is close to size 6).
