Honestly it's going to be hard for you to sell here. You just created this account. This is your first post and you are trying to sell a very big ticket item. A lot of people posting pre-loved items here have been with this community for a long time and have established some sort of a rapport with this family. I'd say it is best for you to go thru a trusted dealer, so the transaction is protected both ways.

Thanks for the feedback. I am willing to negotiate so feel free to make me an offer.

I have offers already but was seeing if I could sell to an individual instead of a dealer so everyone can save money.

Yes, I created this account to sell the stone, and I just want to get it out there on the net in hopes I can save someone money and I can make a little more, by not going through middle men. I just got the GIA inscription and am willing to go through any due diligence the buyer requests.

I welcome all offers. I already have many offers but am not in a huge rush to sell.

If you have many offers you should take one.

You’re free to ask however much you want for your diamond, but just an FYI — you’re asking pretty much the same price as a brand new, comparable-stat, branded ideal cut/AGS000 from well-known, established, reputable vendors who offer top-notch service, advanced imaging, overnight shipping, hassle-free returns, upgrade policies, etc. Those are perks many on this forum value & expect when paying ‘retail’ prices.

Good luck with your sale! :wavey:

You're making me laugh. I will give you all those services (save the returns) for thousands of dollars less. Don't forget about their tax! You're way off. Show me the final bill of all that you just mentioned. Good luck!

Serious buyers only. Thx.

How can you provide all of those services - especially upgrades - if you’re a consumer?

This is just rude. From the first sentence to the last. You are posting on a forum of highly informed consumers. Read the room.

Because OP doesn't seem to believe their price is off.

Super ideal stone with $1 upgrade policy. Less expensive (but SI1 so that makes sense). Slightly smaller, but just as a comparison point.

An individual simply cannot match the level of service offered by most vendors. The price you are asking for is comparable to a premium vendor, but you are hampered by the fact that you simply cannot offer policies such as “full credit of trade in value if you spend just $1 more to upgrade on any parameters” which is what the $1 upgrade means, and you don’t have the credibility that years of sales have built up. I would guess that you do not have advanced images (ASET, idealscope image etc) to provide because you would have already, so you may need to invest a few hundred dollars into those devices at a minimum. These vendors also offer overnight, fully insured shipping and allow you to return no questions asked for 30 days. I believe CBI used to have a 80% lifetime buy back policy, unsure if they still do. All of this is built into the price of the diamond that they offer, meaning that anyone who has nearly 14k to spend is likely to go there to buy. If they don’t need a super ideal stone, some comps at JA and BN are a bit lower, some get closer to around 12k. This is a reasonably high value item, a buyer may want some more peace of mind like going through an escrow service etc. as well, which will cost you.

I would suggest cutting your prices by at least 30%. If you have a comparable offer to the 13.75k you want already, I would take it. If a dealer/consigner has quoted you a price of 13750 as inclusive of their 20-30% commission I would still take it as people are more comfortable buying from established vendors than individuals and you might end up getting more than going direct.

You’re new here :roll2: Small detail you missed. The posting requires a listing link. No one can or will message you here. Not that it will matter much with that price.

oh and don’t post your contact info. It is against forum rules.

Show you the final bill? Ok - no problem.

Bought this in Feb of this year from Good Old Gold - with all the perks. This is the center stone in the ring in my avatar. One of the whitest/highest G's I've ever seen, and definitely as white as most F's. I'm color sensitive and can see -zero- tint in it.

I paid $12,399 for it and traded up to it - $4,404 for the changeover.

You can ask whatever you like for something you sell, but I'd be pitching it at around 10.5k if it were me and I wanted a timely sale. Maybe 11 if timing wasn't an issue. No more than that under any circumstance.

Wishing you well with your sale - we all have to start somewhere.

Just seeing this. I sold it for 13500 by the way, so haven't been on here.

What I sold is a different stone and you know it. And what you posted is not a final receipt.

I love it when the members with mad skillzzzz make a poser look silly. :appl:

I see you like STRONG FLUORESCENCE and other things my diamond doesn't have. It's not hard to read the details of the stone guys. C'mon.

I sold my 2.0 ct BGB long ago and a 2.0 ct EC. I did like it but I upgraded to a 2.69 OEC and then upgraded again. The G VS 3.0 vintage EC is today’s flavor. If you plan to do research on PSers there are quite a few of us who have a long upgrade journey. I’m no exception.

glad you got your asking price.
