This is a 1.59 ct F VS2 Whiteflash ACA which excelled in comparison after comparison when I was diamond shopping. It's in a size 5.5 platinum Brian Gavin Tapered Solitaire. It is a classic look with all the finer details done right, which I have enjoyed immensely.

A little background...this stone was originally in another setting but after reading Ame's post about her solitaire set, I got hooked. She's right, the taper really makes the center stone pop, and then the shank softens to a comfortable half-round shape. Also pairs beautifully with a Tiffany channel eternity. The height is just right. Thanks for the inspiration, Ame!
