Hi everyone

I’ve decided to sell my 1.78ct GIA U-V transitional cut with JBG:

https://www.jewelsbygrace.com/colle...s/1-78ct-transitional-cut-diamond-gia-u-v-vs2

It’s unmounted now but I’ve got a video of it in its original setting, doesn’t do it any justice.

I wanted to share the video of the original ring (while some would say erghm… ugly) as this was my late grandparents ring. My grandmother gifted it to my grandfather to signify her love after 20 years of happy marriage. To me, that says girl power, in a time when I expect it was unconventional for a woman to be financially independent or be in a position to make a such a significant gift. I hope that it continues to bring girl power to whoever wears it, together with as much love as my grandparents had for each other. :kiss2:

I've been stalking this stone for awhile now. I love a transitional. I love warm. I'm hesitant bc I don't know how to set it yet. Do I play up the color? Or down? Rose or yellow? Lol. Maybe eventually I'll figure it out.

I’m sure Grace could provide some advice and maybe even show you how it looks next to some different metals/settings! If I trust anyone’s eye it’s hers!

That said, I love love love the idea of rose gold to play up the “peachy” tones of the stone, as Grace describes it :kiss2:
