I've decided to do a specific thread for this one piece as it deserves it.

This spready 1.93 AVC is one of the most beautiful diamonds I've ever seen. It's puffy, soft, and a beautiful light gold color. When I first received it, I emailed Jon and said "All diamonds should look like this - what have I been doing all my life??" Jon also told me that, due to its very moderate depth, this stone faces up like a 2 - 2.1 - maybe even a 2.2ct AVC. If you can find another 2ct AVC for $6300, good luck to you!

The ONLY reason I'm selling this is because I have accumulated too many pieces and a piece as special as this should not just sit in a box. It should be a 'one and only' and, since some health scares earlier this year, I don't seem to be wearing anything except my WF 3-stone which has the most sentimental value for me. One day I hope to own a 5ct beauty in this color, but for now, I'm going to let this one go.

So, I'm going to offer a 10% discount on this AVC. Its price is now $6300. Since this diamond was already discounted at $8207.41 when I bought it, $6300 is a steal. It's unset, I have the paperwork, and this stone is ready to rock and roll!

My contact details are on LT under the heading 'Monster Sale'.

Here's its video and details from the AV site. Be aware, it's less brown and more golden in real life. I am also selling the 2.6-2.7mm OECs I had cut for it by Yoram if you're interested in doing a cluster or making a matching band.

Oh man, if only. :kiss2:
Someone is going to be very lucky to snag this at an excellent price.

Sent you an email :)

If I didn’t already own a fancy light yellow marquis....

MTG - if it doesn't sell, I'll be keeping it and the OECs and doing the pendant to end all pendants. Imagine the lushness and indulgence of a 2ct AVC pendant!

:love::love::love:

I almost exclusively wear my Beau paw pendant these days though I just sent my garnet and moonstone off for a commissioned sculptural piece. Maybe it’ll get me to change up my pendants!

@mrs-b It would make an awesome pendant. You should keep it if able :love:

Hi @naroo_11 :))

Yes, I'm definitely able and am under no financial pressure to sell anything at all. It's just that, since I was sick this year, i only ever reach for my staples (hoops, pearl studs, bangles) and my most sentimental pieces (wedding ring and 3 stone). Basically it has to be either uncomplicated or super meaningful. Consequently everything else sits in boxes. Which means I have a LOT of things sitting in boxes! While they were things I loved in the past, it seems ridiculous to have so much money-converted-to-jewelry-could-be-converted-back-to-money laying around doing absolutely nothing. I also only have one god daughter to whom I would leave pieces on the event of my demise, and, while she likes jewelry, I think she'd find my collection even more superfluous than I do.

I already have 3 diamond pendants, so this would be a fourth, and I'm not a huge necklace person in the first place. The older I get, the less I get 'fancy', and on the rare occasions I do, I need the heavy hitting pieces, as it tends to be big business related.

So all that to say - I'd rather sell. But I'm not going to make a huge effort; even for someone with a large jewelry collection, this stone is an honor to own, and I wouldn't kick it outta bed for eating crackers, so to speak!! :mrgreen:

If that isn’t spoken for I will buy it.

Please put me in line to purchase. Thank you

:shock: :love: That is one smokin’ deal for one amazing diamond! If I wasn’t in the midst of upgrading my WF diamond right now ... I’d put myself in queue for that stunner!

@susan498 and @Queenie60 -

I'm happy to sell it to either of you, but I haven't heard from either of you via email. My contact details are in my Loupe Troop posting below:

https://loupetroop.com/account/listings/30803

I'm not doing dibs or anything like that. First person to email me and get my Paypal acct details and send the payment through gets it. I'm not trying to make this a race, doing it this way is just the fairest way I can think of. And if nobody wants it, I'll set it myself.

Price, including shipping, is $6315.

@mrs-b are you set firm on no returns? That is the only hold up for me....

Hi @EmeraldEmpress -

I completely understand your position, but I just can't risk sending an expensive piece to a complete stranger on the basis that they *might* want to buy it. There's too much risk of theft, the package going astray, damage and so on. I bought this stone sight unseen and took the risk. I'm hoping someone else will feel comfortable enough with a great deal and a beautiful stone to do the same thing.

@mrs-b, just had to confirm!
I meant of course in a situation where I would PayPal funds over, the stone would be shipped, and I would have a set amount of time to make a decision (keep or return for refund of funds via PayPal). But I certainly understand not wanting to ship an expensive piece back and forth.

Thank you for the confirmation and can't wait to see where this stone ends up : )

@susan498 and @Queenie60 -

I'm unclear as to how you'd like to proceed. Let me know! And please read my previous post to you both.

Just to be super clear - this is for the AVC only - not for the OECs or the setting the diamond was previously in.

@mrs-b Just reading your posts. Thank you. I will know by tomorrow if I will purchase or not. Need to stew on my thoughts overnight to be sure I'm not making a spontaneous purchase. I have a few good ideas for this stone. Thank you. Q

@Queenie60 - I'm so sorry - this just sold. It actually went to the first person who contacted me about it a couple of days ago and who has been thinking about it ever since.

@mrs-b Thank you for letting me know. You snooze, you loose! I'm glad you sold the stone. Q
