Ooops...posted by accident before I posted any pics. Anyway, here it is...again. I decided to put my stone back into the SP mounting after the solitaire setting fiasco. How I will deal with the potential damage, I haven't yet decided. But, for now, I am just going to enjoy that it's in a beautiful mounting, nice and straight and even!! Pics to follow...

Sure. Center stone is 2.35 I, VS2 Ideal H&A.

I''m really happy to have it in my old mounting, but I also miss the clean, simple solitaire look. What an ordeal this has been. I''m just so glad to be done with it for now.

What about wearing a very very thin spacer between the two rings? You could get a 2mm band and have it filed down to 1 or 1.5mms and it would not be very noticable between the two. (I don''t know if anyone makes a plain band thinner than 2mms.)
