My 93 year old MIL gave these to me. They belonged to her mother who had brothers in the jewelry business. I absolutely adore them but the catch is so tiny and delicate I’m afraid to wear them and lose one. I would like to take it to a jeweler to see if there is a better way to work it but I don’t want them sent out to anyone. 2BD82375-1873-43D2-AF48-8C6BACF17A8D.jpeg

Your earrings are beautiful and romantic. Pieces that are passed down from family are the most special.

I wear tiny silicon backs 1A6857D2-E42D-4078-A6F9-BB447DCCBB95.png

Thank you but these are not posts. The are a wire with a tiny notch on one side that it "clicks" into. (Can't beat the price on those backings though! LOL)

The earrings are just beautiful! They are somehow delicate and substantive at the same time. She must love you very much to have gifted them to you. Enjoy these special earrings!!

 Those are absolutely beautiful!
Push the silicone stoppers up the wire and past the area of the catch and it will add another layer of security incase the catch pops open. They should be well camouflaged so you won't see them.

I know. I slide them on, then click closed. I just don’t want to lose them.

They are so delicately gorgeous

These are so beautiful and romantic.

Wow, so lovely! Wearing them would be a joy!

Yes use the silicone stoppers on the wires and have a jeweler check the jumprings and prong setting to fix potential loose stones.

So lovely and delicate…and the history behind it :kiss2:
