101 Great Romantic Nights

Anyone heard of this book? I''m not sure where I first came across it (maybe even on PS??). There are 100 sealed envelopes w/plans in them for the man to do and for the woman to do (50 per person). Each one has this romantic event that the person who picks the envelope is supposed to make happen for the other. Just wondered if the activities are reasonable to do? Some reviews say they''re a bit expensive and stereotypical but others love the book. If they''re a bit too out there, not sure i''d do them anyway.

There''s also the 101 Nights of Great Sex, which is a compliment to the book that you''re talking about. YOu can find them in any Borders or Barnes and Nobles.

One of my friends has the 101 Nights of Great Sex book. She and her DH have a 16 month old, and she says it has helped them make sex a priority again. I''m sure you could modify some of the envelopes that seem too "out there" or expensive to fit your tastes/budget. i keep meaning to pick up this book myself, lol!

Thanks ladies! I may just have to buy the book to see what sort of stuff is inside. There are actually some pretty cheap on Amazon. I just like having new ideas to try, but I don''t think i''d want to do them every week or even on a set schedule. We just tear one out of the book when we feel like it. I think i''d be the type to open them all first b/c i''m fairly picky on what I would or wouldn''t do.
Well, if I get it, i''ll let ya know.

I have the book you talk about
it isn''t too bad!

I find that the girl "envelopes" are more sexual and adventurous, whereas I found that the boy ones are more romantic, and sweet (mind you not always haha)
I remember the one where my bf had to write a letter about his first impression of me, and how he feels and how things have changes (he doesn''t express himself overly well) but the letter was over a page long and I cried during most of the letter..


Some are a little over the top, but others are fun!

Sparklystars, thanks for posting! The letter sounds like a nice thing to read. I guess that what concerns me is what you said, the girls ones are mostly sexual. I guess i''m not sure if i''d go through w/the ideas, possibly a little too risque for my tastes. But I think i''d like to try it. Seems kind of fun and different.

the way we did it, is if the envelop was a little "out of our league" we had the option to chose another.. but we had to tell the other what that envelop contained (once he got one that had him having to take old clothing and make holes into all the private spots, he didnt like the idea much, nor did he find it attractive.. so he chose another envelop.. i felt the same when he told me (i dont see how that is sexy.. but thats me!)) anyways its overall okay, you just need to set your own rules before i guess

Yeah, that one would be a little odd for me too. I like the idea of opting out but telling the other. I think i''ll try it!
