Part One: the new setting
Before: 2mm Tiffany-style platinum 6-prong e-ring, 3.5mm engraved & milgrain Wright & Lato platinum WB
After: Memoire Paris "petite prong" eternity band, 4-prong e-ring
Memoire Paris "petite prong" eternity band
Diamonds in the bands are H/VS2-SI1 acc to the appraisal.
Size 4; diamond 1.0ct RB, H, VS1
Original Wedding band is a size 3.5.
I love this set! It is incredibly comfortable, I barely notice a difference from the plain platinum shank of my former e-ring. The prongs are very low profile, you don''t see them. And the two bands fit together perfectly... Sooooooo sparkly. I will wear it with my wedding band mostly (sentimental reasons), though the set looks best on its own! I think I love the 4-prong setting because my diamond shows even whiter from all the light it''s now getting. And I love that you can see more of the stone. It does take on a bit of a squarish look, but still lovely.
To be continued (sometime this year)... diamond upgrade!
