If you have a halo that measures 13mm wide or 14mm wide can you please post a hand shot for me having one made and having a hard time seeing the difference between the two...need some eye candy ladies..please:))))

I doubt you will get much replies: assuming it's a single halo, the center stone would be anywhere between 4 to 7 carats (from a substantial halo to something very delicate), and we don't really have much round stones of that size in halos on PS.

The only one I can think of is lvnut's ring, she has a 4 carat round and has upgraded her halo setting from something delicate to a little more substantial, which is probably close to 12 or 13mm.

I think sarahbear's is around those measurements..maybe bigger! I think she was *jewel of the week* a few weeks ago!

edit to add - WHOOPS! sorry I didn't see that you wanted "Round" in your title...my bad, not sure how I missed that!

Thx..do you have a link.

I don't know if this will help or not, but the only 2 rings that I can think of with halos would be mine and ZahraLeyla, except they are not RB's but varying forms of antique cuts that are sort of "roundish." I just had my reset into the halo and I used Z's photos heavily to sort of determine how my diamond would look with a halo. I'm a size 6 and she is a 6.5. Both of our halos hover between 12-14mm (pending cushion angle).

Regardless here are the links if you want to see pictures.

Edit to add: Victor Canera who was the designer of my ring sent me a proportional "real life" scale version of my ring when we were deciding on the mm width of my halo. he gave me 3 options which I cut out and could put on my finger to see the difference. If you are trying to get a better idea of how it will look on you I would ask to see if your designer or vendor can do something similar. Good luck!

I don't think 13 vs. 14 will be a big difference. Both will scream, "GINORMOUS!!!".
I went with a 10.2mm stone + 2.2mm halo.. bringing the whole thing to a whopping 15mm from side to side.
How big are your fingers, though?

My stone is a bit over 10mm, and my double halo adds 6mm in total. Finger size is 5.5:

I don't think it looks too big - just the opposite, in fact!

Hope this helps. Thanks SB for referencing me :wavey:

Z I'm sorry!!! When I was doing my research to revamp my setting I had it written down your ring was a size 6.5 and closer to 14mm. I realize now I put 14mm because I only counted for a single halo not your double (duh!) when I was trying to calculate how it would look on my finger.

No idea where I got 6.5 from, but I had it in my notes

For reference OP mine is at the 13mm marker. I can't remember the exact mm but it was right around there.

Thank you so much for these links!! Your ring is amazing!! My finger size is 4.5 and I think the halo should be close to 13mm. My wax is in the process of ring made..I can't wait to see it!!!
