I bought this ring as a starter ring to see if I like rose cut diamonds. I found that I do like rose cuts but European & old mine cuts are still my favorite. The ring isn't marked 14kt but it was tested. This was sold to me as a rose cut diamond and it does test on my diamond tester but my tester that differentiates between diamond and moissanite is broken. My jeweler has no experience with rose cut diamonds and it did register as a diamond on his tester too. I'm not 100% sure it is a diamond but I have no reason to doubt that it is one. The pear rose cut is eye clean and looks faces up white (maybe G-I color). ***I believe it is a diamond but it may be a moissanite, I don't want to misrepresent or lie.***
There are 5 channel set rubies (2.5 mm) and 5 channel set diamonds (2 mm). Some of the diamonds and rubies have fluorescence (first time I saw rubies do that). I don't know if the rubies are natural but they do have inclusions that are seen using the loupe.
Pear Rose Cut: 7.3 mm x 5.5 mm (around 0.50 carat).
Weight of ring 5.44 grams.
Asking $350.
Paypal F&F and shipping in the U.S. is included.
