14K YG diamond & ruby stacker-size 7.5

I recently purchased this from My Diamond Zone, and unfortunately it doesn't go well with my set. 14K yellow gold eternity with diamonds and rubies in size 7.5. The diamonds are not ideal cut but I still find them very sparkly. I'm told this is not a good candidate for re-sizing.

Is there a resize fairy that can turn this into a 5.75? Pretty please coz I want it!!

If there were a resize fairy I'd be broke from buying all the size 4 eternities I want from ebay!!

My local jeweler was the one who pronounced it "not a good candidate" -- but to be fair, I've never given him anything very complicated to work with. A more skilled jeweler could be the fairy we are all looking for!
