Adding the last few items to my sale to fund Edwina's new setting. All items have Etsy links and come with free shipping (USPS priority mail with tracking). Please feel free to ask questions! Most items have sold very quickly, so that you everyone for your support!
These 18k yellow gold Dormeuse earrings were made circa 1910 with mine cut diamonds (averaging 3mm) and pearls (averaging 7.5mm). They weigh 3.22g total which demonstrates they are substantial but not heavy. Total drop is just over 13mm long so they nestle below the earlobe comfortably - the Dormeuse earring is a design meant to be so easy to wear you could sleep in them. Up to you!
The diamonds are bright and lively, sparkly little flashers, and the pearls have lovely creamy hue. The backs of the earrings show the careful fabrication which is nearly impossible to find these days. They are practical as the leaver backs prevent them from falling off and they are so timeless you might even forget to wear other earrings! Incredibly hard to find in genuine antiques, these have been copied but never matched. Asking $389 and adding a link below. Someone will snap these up quickly!
