18k yellow and white gold, holding 3.5mm paste stones, these Dormeuse style earrings are stamped in what looks to be Russian text (see photo #2) and they latch at the top front, meaning they are introduced from the rear of the earlobe. This is a style largely abandoned in modern times but is so comfortable to wear, so much so that they require no care at all and are suitable for any thickness of lobe. The gold color is warm and blush, but they are not rose gold, and the daisy in the front is a soft silvery white, not grey.
These earrings have seen some times! They survived all the scary things of decades past, and now they wish for nothing more than to be back in the game. As colleagues go, these are your besties. They don't catch on pillowcases, even your best silk ones, and they are light enough and swingy enough that you'll forget you're wearing earrings at all. You might suddenly get a sinking feeling in your stomach and panic, but as you reach up to your earlobes, there they will be, floating warmly, clasps secure, ever reflecting the light up to your eyes.
