I can''t believe there are only 19 days until my wedding!!! I''m so excited, but I''m also so nervous about my job situation that it''s kind of taking away a little bit from my wedding excitment. I''m only responsible for paying for the bar (about 2k) and the dj (1k) but with the no job sitch that''s a little daunting considering that constitutes half my savings (I had a pretty poorly paying job previous to the job I got laid off from) and unemployment only lasts through January...
My bachlorette party was last weekend and it was a complete blast (I flew to Boston and we went to Maggianos for dinner (me plus 10 gals) then to a drag queen show (fab! - one could really crunk like nothing I''ve ever seen to beyonce "crazy in love", I almost felt like I had a "girl crush" on her b/c she was so pretty and an awesome dancer, but it was really a guy so I don''t think it''s a real "girl crush" haha - I want to take crunking lessons now haha) and then to a club after. I was super nostalgic because I used to live in the city and my girls and I used to always meet up for dinner then head to the bars or clubs before I moved out to MI and I miss the Boston nightlife big time. And the food ... although Ann Arbor, MI does have lots of fab restaurants, esp for a buffalo wing conniseaur like myself. Although what stinks is that in the back of my head there was the "omg, 4th interview on Monday looming over my head, I NEED this job and I really WANT this job so I''m preoccupied by that."
And dumb me booked the plane ticket to leave the next day at 9am...I couldn''t afford the later flight, thank god all I had was a slight headache.
I had an awesome interview today, it''s down to 2 of us now, but the manager can''t decide who to pick and wants to wait until wednesday.
I''ll post some bach. party pics when I get them. It was a crazy night and some guy kept following me around at the club to the point of being obnoxious - I think he thought he was gonna get some. Um, hello - bride? - have a veil and tiara on - do you think I usualy dress like this? hahaha
