1mm WG spacer photos.

You're probably all tired of seeing my set by now, but I thought I'd share photos of the new spacer I got. 1mm white gold, rounded.
My set is platinum (a Van Craeynest setting and Leon Mege three sided micropave band) but I thought I'd just get white gold for the spacer, and it looks fine.

The spacer isn't as tall as the rings, but it'd have to be a weird wafer shape (thin and tall) for it to match in height while not being too thick and overpowering the delicate look of the set. But I think it works. The VC doesn't sit flush because the head is inset, but it doesn't bother me.

Just for fun, I thought I'd take some photos of it stacked with my Victor Canera band. I do love the stacked look.
Unfortunately my stacking bands are sized for my left hand, and I can't wear them on my right, hence why I listed them for sale since I love my wedding set. Though every time I put them on, I wonder if I might just keep them, lol.

I got the band from Jewelerontheroof on etsy.

I really love the Leon band, it's pure light from any and every angle, and it's so impressively structural with attention to detail. I can see why they call him the micropave expert, it certainly blows most micropave bands I see out of the water.

Agreed. I think I would cry to have the van craeynest eaten away at by all those tiny diamonds!

For comparison, here was my old spacer, it was about 1.6mm and half round.
I really liked the engraving, but it just seemed too flat and too wide.

Great spacer, MTG! That seems to be the perfect size from the 1.6mm. It slips in very unobtrusively between your 2 rings - very nicely selected!

(Not that your 1.6 was not nice, cuz it looks pretty sweet too!)

I liked the old spacer as well but the new one is very discreet and it works as well! Great find - your rings are beautiful!!

The rings themselves are only 1.8mm so I wasn't too worried about the spacer being too thin, lol. I tried to find one locally to try it out but the concept of a spacer got blank stares at a lot of brick and mortar places, and out right incredulousness when I asked if they had any 1 mm bands lol. I don't blame them, it is very petite!

Haha. One place was like "why don't you solder your set together", and then I took my rings off so he could look more closely and he was like " oh...". I pale to imagine soldering a Leon or Van Craeynest to anything. Gah!

Yeah. I wondered about getting an even thinner one since my set is petite but I'm glad I went with 1 mm since thinner would also mean shorter and I like the current height.

I just got a RG one, 1mm also even though my set is plat/WG... a cute contrast. My DH noticed it and asked what it was and I explained why I had it but for jewelry non-fanatics like him, I think I sounded like too much of a jewelry geek
