#TBT 2.008-ct WF ACA G VS2 RB Pendant Re-Set

These images of my RB re-set from WF just arrived today.

The goals of this re-set were to give the diamond more presence and to prevent flipping, twisting, and traveling around my neck. The new chain can slide through this setting. There are eight 7-point melee in the chain, 4 from my pear necklace re-set. I don't care for bezels or halos or bails, so this was not easy.

Not sure when to expect FedEx. I'll try to give an update about the success of this design when I can wear it for a while.

Hi Starry! I think it is a perspective issue b/c your melee are smaller in size (I have 15pt bezels from WF in a DBTY necklace) so it just looks thicker but in actuality they may be exactly the same width.

Hmmm. Interesting. These are certainly small diamonds. Just a little texture and sparkle for the chain.

So here's the icing - I have a friend who works in management at a very high-end fashion house (carries the bags, wears the clothing, jewelry and watches), who could not stop staring at my necklace today!! That's the kind of "presence" this diamond needed!

This setting stays put! The diamond is not flipping or traveling up my neck at all. I love it!
