2.44 OEC anything to worry about? Pic and video

I am looking to buy and am new to OEC and even diamonds in general. Does this look good for an OEC? Sorry the pictures are kind of bad but it was a video. I posted the link to that on YouTube here:

Sorry but I posted this elsewhere and was told I would have better luck posting here. I am bad at this as I am not only new to diamonds but this forum as well.

With a small table (which is good), this stone is a bit shallow (if it had the same depth with a larger table, the angles would be different). As a result of the angles and how they affect each other, it has the appearance of mushy faceting (indistinct patterning and dead zones) under the table. I’d be happy to help you search within your price range if you find honest analysis of diamonds helpful.

Agreed! I have said that if I ever buy another a Oec I’m just going to give @Tourmaline my budget and let her pick it out for me.

Thank you all. I am going through a well known Instagram source that some love and others, let’s just say differ on that. My experience has been good. I have seen several old stones now and think I am okay with this one for the price. I did really like the one on here from another PSer but I tried reaching out several different ways and never received a response so I moved on. I think I was a bit impulsive but now that I know that I can source through some great folks on here I will do that next time as I am sure there will be.

Ps I like the pattern on this one and since I have learned from all the advice that old stones are really personal preference I think I will be happy with it. I would love to learn more of the good the bad and the ugly on these and even this one ( I am a scientist) so that if I spot a perfect match for me I am prepared. I have caught the OEC and OEM bug
