I just LOVE the 5 stone rings.
During my time with PS I have had a uprong 5 stone with .40 pinters, uprong 5 stone with .30 pointers, and open trellis graduated 5 stone with larger 1.52ct center.
Recently I had an unfortunate mishap with my most recent 5 stone
So decided
1. to source some BGD signature rounds
2. Being an admirer of @MakingTheGrade & @Dandi 5 stone rings; wanted a slightly graduated 5 stone.
Initially I was going to purchase the sig rounds and send to DK (absolutely love and adicted to their collaborative design process) but decided to have BGD do the setting so -one stop shop.
previous 5 stones we always set low. This time around I request stones set JUST high enough to see culets (easy cleaning and I LOVE seeing the tables and culets in my settings- could be an addiction could be OCD...I don't know. )
As u know DK design process is very transparent and allows customer to see every detail. DK spoils us that way and I dig that about DK! But different vendors have different design process.
So I sent a photo of what I thought was open trellis and again requested stones set not TOO high but just high enough to see culet.
finished ring...
