I gave up trying to make a listing on LT because it kept on saying "too large" or something, so here it is. If you want me to list on LT just show me how to do it.
I'm selling an almost brand new custom made ring size 3.75-4. I purchased the heated Montana sapphire from an older gentleman couple yrs ago. He mined, heated and cut the stone himself. The sapphire is not a royal blue but rather a denim blue color and some dissolved silks can be seen at certain angles. The platinum setting is very well made, came from one of my favorite and trusted jewelers. I worn it only twice in the past year so I'm listing it so someone can use it more because it's a very beautiful ring.
I'm asking for $3,500 plus insured post. Accept PP f&f. I'm posting the ring for sale first in the 1st two pics and followed by pics of the sapphire before mounted and with other sapphires for color comparison. 3rd pic, before mounted, the larger sapphire on the left (comparing to another smaller unheated Montana sapphire I purchased from JW). 4th pic, the color of this sapphire is more greenish, denim blue, not a royal blue as the sapphire from Thailand.

Sorry mrs-b for the late reply. I can't find the receipt for the sapphire and I don't have a way to take the measurements. I moved things/papers in boxes in the mist of the flooding so it's a big mess and very unorganized right now. I just remember its diameter is around 7.8-8mm. I'm not sure what the depth is, but it's a pretty deep stone. Just for comparison, the smaller one I got from JW is 1.5ct and 7.2mm.
Once I can find the receipt and can figure out how to make a listing on LT, I'll let you know. Meanwhile if you're interested in just the stone, let me know also. I can send it to Amy or DK to remove it from the setting.
