2 new rings! Malaya garnet and Oyo Tourm.

I set my 7.5mm Bekily malaya garnet from Barry Bridgestock in a cheapy LOGR rose gold setting.
I set my 6.5 mm radiant oyo tourm from Dan Stair into an antique 18k white gold setting.

I tried out a new jeweler who specialized in color stones. Good news is no chips or scratches, and it was only 15$ to set a stone. Bad news is the prongs on the garnet are crooked, oops. They said they''ll fix it though. I don''t mind wearing it awhile before I take it back to be fixed.

I love them both! So nice to see Malaya garnet set in a ring, I feel like I don''t see that stone often enough. Love the varied shades of pink in malayas. Does it change color at all?

It does change to a golden brown color in certain lighting.
I do love how dynamically the colors can shift in this garnet! If I keep it I'll probably reset it down the line into something nicer.
