22K gold band vendor/source recommendation

Hello Pricescopers!

I've recently been bitten by the high karat gold bug, and am interested in finding a simple band in 22K. I'm rough on my hands, so I don't know if 24K would be a good idea. Antique or new would be great. Do you have any recommended sources/vendors?

I bought my 22k band from him also! If you reach out via Instagram I think he will give a slight discount vs prices on etsy. I love my 22k band so much that I'm strongly considering getting another one in 24k.

Here’s an old photo of it- I ended up recycling it for another project but it was about 8 grams (size 6) and super comfortable. 4mm wide I believe. Only reason I traded it in was because I found an antique Tiffany 22k band instead

For me 24K lasted only 3 yrs. before the ring shank wore through and had to have the entire shank replaced.

Have you bought from Mene?

I haven’t bought from them yet. I'm waiting until I travel to the states and I can bring it home under my duty free exemption. I wasn’t sure if I would need to pay 21.5% for import duties and taxes to Canada if it’s considered jewelry. And their fees are 30% on top of the spot price for gold.

I can’t get myself to pay a 50% markup on 24K gold, especially for the weight that I want and gold prices are high again. I was brought up to buy/sell gold close to the spot price.

Hopefully there’s another PSer who has bought from Mene and can share!
