Hello--I''m fairly new to this forum, but I''ve been reading it almost non-stop! It''s rather addictive I must say. Anyway, our 25th anniversary was in October, and I''ve been ring shopping every since. I hate to think how many hours and how many websites I''ve looked at, trying to decide what kind of ring to get. My hubby left it entirely up to me. He just kept saying "get what you want". What a guy. No wonder I''ve kept him this long. So anyway, I''ve looked and looked and looked and finally decided on the ring. Then I started diamond shopping. Well, it was my good fortune to have found this forum. I''d been educating myself on diamonds, but I learned soooo much here. This is also where I came across Mark Turnowski and Engagement Rings Direct. In all the months of looking on the internet, I never came across his website that I recall. Can''t imagine why. Just the nicest guy in the world. I highly recommend him and his company.

I''m VERY happy with it. I was sorta skeptical about an I colored diamond. My original ering was 1.1 ct round, G SI1. But Mark had the diamond on his desk, looked it all over for me, and said I''d be very happy with. He was right. I can see no difference in color between it and my original. I''m sure that has a lot to do with a very well cut stone. I had my original put into a 3 stone ring with .40 side diamonds that were family diamonds. I''ve attached a picture, but boy, was that ring dirty!. I should clean it and take new pictures.
