So, first to thank you guys. I asked for stone advice and that's what I got. I did the research and found the stone I wanted, eventually.
The stone is:
2.02 ct Asscher, VS1, H with very strong blue fluorescence
7.23x6.89x4.63
Depth 67%
table 61%
Cut: Ex
Polish :Ex
Symmetry :VG
I had it set in a refurbished 1940 platinum art deco ring fitted with four Round brilliants of 0.08 cts, Colour G
Clarity VS1 with a Millegrain shoulder setting.
The whole deal didn't set me back as much as $9,000, so I am pretty damned pleased. I had the diamond set at Tiffany's in Paris, as I work there (in Paris), and they said that they would have charged 30-35,000 Euros for it, but that's with the Tiffany's name attached.
So anyway here are the pictures (excuse me if I get this wrong), and thanks again for the input.
Edited to add: I forgot to mention that I got the stone from USA Certed. Martin Sheffield was an absolute professional, and a star.
