This was my review thread that I originally had. After a total of about 6 months of searching for the diamond and ring, I finally proposed this past weekend and she said yes. Don''t have any good handshots yet but here are some pics that the appraiser took.

By the way, I went with David Wolf for the appraisals and he was great. Very detail oriented and didn''t leave any stone unturned.. literally. I''d recommend him to anyone looking for an independent appraiser.

So beautiful! can you share some specific details of the ring... for instance... how narrow is the shank? 1.6mm? 1.8Mm? what type of leon pave is that? Mushroom or v-cut? Dd you ask to have it set as low as possible? It looks great! Can''t wait to see hand shots!

The shank is around 1.6 mm. I had requested for the ring to be very dainty and he said 1.6 would be thin, but still strong enough. The pave is a v-cut. And as far as setting the ring, I didn''t want it set too high as my fiancee doesn''t really wear jewelry, and Leon also had suggested it would look better if it was set low.
