33.0 CA and HCA 3

Hi guys

Would love some advise for a round diamond I'm looking at with the following specs:

• 6.93-6.97 x 4.23mm
• 1.23ct
• D
• VVS2
• Table: 58%
• Depth: 60.9%
• CA: 33.0
• PA: 41.4

The cut proportions chart as AGS Ideal and GIA Excellent but I'm a little worried about a few things:

• Is a 33 degree Crown Angle too shallow?
• I know HCA is talked about more of a rejection tool than a selection tool, but it returned a HCA score of 3 with VG ratings for all.
• Arrows diagram doesn't appear to be great but I'm not too well versed in reading these. Any advice would be appreciated.

I would not buy this stone. 33 is shallow and 41+ pavillion is overly steep. Plus, the images don't look great. What is your budget and desired size, color, clarity, etc? People here would be happy to help you look.

Do you need D/VVS clarity for cultural reasons? For most people D-F and VS2+ will be great because the stone will be eye clean and very white.

I'm in Sydney which might make it a bit harder. Working with a budget of USD11.5k/AUD15k.

Happy with eye clean and D-F, that was just a stone provided as an option by a jeweler.

How much would the import fees be if you bought a stone in the US? just want to make sure I understand budget constraints
