My husband surprised me with purchasing a large upgrade. I have a custom eternity band with about 2.5mm RBs now but it was made by DK for an elongated cushion.
In order to have this setting for my new round stone it would have to be completely re-built costing both weeks on end and a lot more $.
The jeweler he purchased the diamond from offered to custom make me a dainty solitaire which I also love and could expedite production.
Anyone go from eternity to solitaire? Opinions? I’m so torn!

Well. I have not done it. But I absolutely love the look of a classic solitaire with a diamond eternity band. I love the focus it puts on the solitaire, and doesn’t distract from it.

That would be my pick.

Enjoy the upgrade!!!

I adore this look as well and have done it in the past. And the solitaire you've selected is utterly classy and elegant.

I think the new solitaire setting is gorgeous, I think you’ll love it. It is so versatile, and you can stack different bands and get different looks depending on your mood. Sometimes I wear my solitaire with just a plain band, sometimes with a blingy rb band, sometimes with thinner stacking bands.

The new solitaire is AMAZING!! May I ask if the setting is either Freider Lauer or Adiamor? Or another designer? I am on the hunt for something very similar; yours is just perfect! Congratulations!!

I would start with the solitaire setting. It looks very pretty and it will give you a chance to think about what else you may want without having to make a quick decision. You may just love it exactly as it is!

I actually have a same-looking solitaire (it's a Stuller piece) for my 2.56ct radiant. It's supposed to be a temporary setting til I figure out what I want to permanently set my stone in, but I won't be mad if I have to wait a few years. The delicate solitaire shows off the stone and allows me to wear it with so many different bands it's awesome. I've always had diamond accented engagement styles, so this is a first for me.

Ooooo would LOVE to see it! Would you mind sharing either the Stuller product number or link?
