I've been a loyal customer of Diamonds by Lauren for several years. I think David is a warm, funny, knowledgeable, and honest businessman. When I was thinking about re-setting my Leon Mege engagement ring and one of my mother's diamonds, I called up David to work his magic. I wanted something a little less dainty yet classic, and fell in love with his new bezel settings.

I don't have the stats handy, but the center diamond from my Leon ring is a 2.11 E (Excellent Cut) and my mother's diamond is a 2 ct L/M (it was never certified, but David loved the stone). Having both set in bezels, as stackers, was an idea I had in mind because when stacked together, the diamonds would form an '8' on my finger. The number '8' in Chinese numerology (I'm Korean but we follow similar customs) is a very auspicious number, and also, my twins were born on 8/8/11, so the rings would always remind me of them.

I have to praise David and Rob for their efficient communication and expertise. They make me feel welcome in their office (I can easily run over since I work only a couple blocks away) and they are really sincere people. Thank you again, guys!

I've attached pics of my former Leon Mege ring, followed by the 2.11ct E set in platinum, and the 2 ct L/M set in 18k yellow. The bands are approx. 2.5 mm in width, and the rings are a size 7 (I wear them as RHRs). I also wear the bezels with two platinum micropave bands, to visually represent '11', the year of the twins' birth. I know, I'm imaginative :)

Beautiful bezels and I love the sentiment behind the "8" and the twin bands representing "11" wear your diamonds in the best of health!

Beautiful... it's a very different look than the LM. How delicate is the gallery on the bezels?

Gorgeous! Love the new bezels. Yours have got to be the largest diamond stackers that I've seen to-date. :cheeky: Love the "8"/"11" sentiment. Enjoy your rings!

here are shots of the side profile as well as the under-gallery. The design allows for lots of light to come through, and from what I can tell, this is exactly how Tiffany sets their Bezet rings (I went to Tiffanys a couple weeks ago to admire their Bezets). The ring is super comfortable to wear, since its a lovely rounded band, like a spaghetti noodle!

 Love the spaghetti noodle reference :lickout:
The rings are beautiful! Simple and elegant!

Beautiful! I'm glad you described the significance of the number 8 for wearing them that way, I would have never guessed.

How wonderful! I love the rings and the symbolism. YAY for DBL!!!

And to think I had a cute little set of .33 bezel stackers on my wish list. What was I thInking?! Clearly I need to up my game! Those are stunning.

That is SO cool! And the symbolism is wonderful. I envy you rocking 2 honkin' solitaires...visually interesting and unique look!

Oh, I love your rings! The Tiffany bezet is my dream setting! David did a beautiful job on your bezels. I'm definitely going to keep DBL in mind when I finally ready for my upgrade stone. Enjoy your gorgeous rings!

Hold the phone missy!! While your new bezel rings are TDF, what are you wearing on your left hand now and what did you do with the two side stones from your LM ring?????? Inquiring minds want to know! ;))

Oh wow, clearly I'm not paying enough attention at work - I never got to see these! Congrats on your twins, and I love the '8' and '11' you're making with the rings.

Wear them in good health and happiness.

Looks lovely! BTW, was there a reason why you wanted to change out the style of your LM 3 stone?

thank you all for your compliments!

I decided the change out from the Leon Mege ring for a couple reasons - I had the ring commissioned a few years ago, and I simply got tired of the micropave look. It just seemed overly ornate and didn't fit my more streamlined lifestyle (caring for twin babies!), so I had thought about another re-set. As for the sidestones, they're actually still in the LM setting. I'll probably slip in a blue sapphire at some point, but I think I have enough bling for now!

My mother is gifting me another diamond, a 3.75 F VS1 round brilliant, which I'll at some point toss on my left hand as soon as I figure out how I want it set. I'm a sucker for rounds, although I secretly hope for a honker emerald cut....one day :)

Congrats on your twins; I am a twin momma too! I love your rings   Happy birthday to the twins!!!

I love your rings and the sentiment behind the "8" and "11".

Congratulations on the twin babies and the twin diamonds!! I love the symbolism behind the 8 & 11 - I love symbolic items, too, so I understand the importance of numbers, etc.

I'm glad you are keeping the Leon - that would be incredible with a new coloured stone set in there! WOW - totally amazing!

AND --- you are receiving a 3.75 from your mom??? Fantastic!! If it's a bezel solitaire in RG, that would really look amazing and you could wear all 3 (the RG symbolizing the love from your mom to you!)

Love your beautiful rings! And so wonderful to hear your experience with David at Diamonds by Lauren!

holy shiznets, so much beautiful bling in 1 day! I love it! I love how you can stack 2! I love the 8 (Chinese gal here)! And holy crap your finger is completely covered in bling!

Wow, now those are a quite nice set of stacking rings! They will balance quite nicely with your new 3.75 e-ring on the other hand which we will most definitely need to see!

Good lord

Gives a whole new meaning to the term "stacker"!! The settings are really nice and clean and minimalist - all the better to show off the stones :sun:

And ditto, we definitely need pics of the heirloom 3.75!

Two carat + stackers??? OH WOW!!!!

Your rings are beautiful and they look great on your hand - and I love the fact that you got rings that decided on a design you can wear every day even while chasing after twins! (which is not to say that they're an everyday design - far from it!)
