4.26 cushion cut aquamarine

So after seeing the fabulous collections of Green with envy, Kismet and Stone Hunter bought from AC Stones, my husband bought me a cushion cut aquamarine from their website- It is very gorgeous and I would love to make it into a ring...maybe with pave and preferably set super low...I would love your opinions on what to do!

I am also clueless when it comes to Aquamarines, how do i know if this is a good stone or not? Here is the description from their website:

Aquamarine (J) 4.26 ct. 9.1 x 10.3 mm. Victoria cushion cut. [Gec: H] Flawless at 10x with medium light very slightly greenish blue color. Mozambique origin. BB.

Very nice! I love that aqua! I am just warning you- this colored gem thing can quickly become an addiction! Diamonds are diamonds- but there are sooo many different colors and types of gemstones! Your aqua is awesome!

What about a setting like this?

Thank you for the compliments on the stone!!! I was a bit worried since our purchase was rather impulsive and I know nothing about Aquamarine''s besides it being my birthstone-

Green with Envy- you are so right! It is addictive and a bit more attainable on the budget...I love your spinel!

Where is the setting from that you posted? It is very pretty!~

you have me confused with someone else! I don''t own a spinal... yet!

The setting is from 23rd street jewelers- I saw Quest can do a similar type of delicate band. Lots of people seem to be very happy with their custom work and I am sure that they could put together a thinner halo.

I think it looks very nice. If you like the color then it is a good stone. I think it was CMW that said they look for color 1st in a gemstone. Then cut size price. So go for the color you like.

I''m fairly certain another Pricescoper had a custom ring inspired by the Cathy Waterman. I think it was Simplysplendid...?

Parrot tulips are one of my favorite flowers...right up there with peonies, cabbage roses, and mini calas. I couldn''t figure out what to use as my screen name, and it seemed like as good an idea as any.
