48 hrs!??!?!!(&*(*!(! how Im feeling, and you!?

Ok july11 brides. its HERE NOW~! how are you all doing?

I just wanted to post to let all you future brides know how it feels when you are literally hrs out.
I am excited! SO SO EXCITED!

I spent 3 hrs at the seamstress yesterday - getting my bustle COMPLETELY redone, with me STANDING IN MY DRESS! that was stressful

BUT now everything is fine and im ready ! We dropped all our stuff off at the reception site last night and now its just time to do this. Rehersal is tomorrow and wedding is Saturday.
so ready to get married~!

Im just giddy like a little kid. I dont care what goes wrong, im just excited. glueck, Mayflower25, Blair138, SeeShell, thing2of2, Aloros, StarbuttsKoffee How are you all?

I can''t believe it''s so soon! I''m not that excited/nervous yet, but that''s normal for me...I probably won''t be super excited and nervous until the day of or even right before the wedding.

The one time I got super excited about the wedding was when I visited the venue a week or so ago to see it set up for a wedding and figure out how I wanted it set up. Then it felt real to me!

I still have a few things to do:
1. Buy the booze! We''re doing that today.
2. Write out the place cards and make the table numbers.
3. Make a detailed timeline of the day! Hahaha...that might not happen. Oops!
4. E-mail the DJ with a few song changes. (He sent the playlist beforehand and there are a few songs I don''t like on it.)

I hope everyone''s last minute planning goes off without a hitch! And I hope you all have wonderful weddings! Can you believe we''re going to be a bunch of married women in 2 days?! I still can''t, but I know it''s going to happen!

I''m trying to be calm. I''m trying to be collected. But in reality, I''m one big ball of stress. I haven''t been eating well or sleeping well for the past few days - this is totally not like me. I can usually fall asleep at the drop of a hat and love to eat! Sheesh.

Yesterday was my last day at work, so that''s a huge weight off of my shoulders. Today is a busy day - driving all around town to pick up last minute stuff, visiting the reception site and dropping off reception items, and cleaning my place since all of the girls are getting dressed here.

I memorized my vows yesterday - yippee! Even through the stress, I am still super duper excited! FI is excited too - - practically bouncing around our apartment saying "I''m going to be your husband in two days! Isn''t that exciting!" He''s so cute! He''s also been experimenting with some hair goop then saying, "Whaddya think? Do you like it? Do I look good enough to marry?"

Ok, that''s enough time on PS for now - gotta go get stuff done today! Congrats all of the other July 11 brides!!!

I just wanted to chime in and wish good luck to all my future anniversary date twins!

Hub and I are celebrating our 5th anniversary on Saturday - hard to believe! Seeing your excitement certainly brings back warm memories for me of how I was feeling in the hours before our wedding.

Can't wait! My flowers are arriving today. I've paid everything, have a day-of itinerary, just need to pack for the honeymoon! Eeeeee!

My sister and one of Fi's brother's are in town. His mom is getting in tonight. I HAVEN'T MET HIS MOM YET! Can you believe it? She lives in another state, and I've spoken to her on the phone, but that's it.

I have to write up the seating chart for everyone to find their seats. Table labels are done, cocktail menu needs to be mounted onto matboard, and I need to finish installing Windows 7 RC on my computer before I leave. Also need to buy another vase, because one of mine broke. And grab some kids' stuff from the $ store to keep the children entertained. Other than that I am just waiting for the big day!

FI keeps calling me "wifey" and I keep saying "not yet!"

I expect to see lots of photos when I get back from my honeymoon! Good luck to you all!

ETA: Ended up just buying my sis a dress from the advice on here. It was great advice - she loves it and I don't have to worry anymore!
