5ct Avc E colour in r/g?

I am wondering if my AVC E colour 5 ct Stone would look a little less white if I reset in a rose gold setting?
Considering a halo in rose gold or platinum. Or just platinum basket as currently is and changing shanknto rose gold.
It's just alot whiter than I thought and I'm wanting to try and achieve something a little less stark looking if even possible. I just don't want to make it look cheap.

Any suggestions would be amazing

Depending on the basket design, my thought is it might make the stone appear whiter if set in rose gold. If the stone has a blue nuance or fluorescence, the ”red” in rose gold is a direct contrast on the color wheel. Have you thought of using 18kt white gold maybe just for the basket?

I think it’s gorgeous, the whole ring - both diamond and mounting. Personally I wouldn’t change a thing. That E color is so highly coveted. How long have you had the ring?… perhaps you just need to get used to it. You must get compliments all the time and catch people gazing at it.

E is pretty dang white I can’t imagine anything making it appear more tinted.

Thank you all very much for the amazing feedback. I think perhaps because I live in Australia it is wayyyy to big for what most of the population have.
I considered selling or trading but I imagine I would loose more than I'm prepared.

I will actually be chaning the shank to a 2.3mm and setting east west as it looks pretty square that way and I prefer that on my finger. But I agree it is stunning apart from that and In just going to embrace it.

I think it is absolutely gorgeous and very classic as it is and wouldn't change a thing!

Honestly, the more you wear it, the smaller it will seem. Diamond Shrinkage Syndrome is real. We get accustomed to things very quickly. Seriously, give it a couple months of everyday wear and it will seem "normal" in no time!
