6.28 TCW custom WF graduated 5 stone eternity band

Hello!

I'm *considering* selling my wedding band that was custom made for me in 2008. It's a trellis design with 5 graduated sized main stones and 10x .25 stones to complete the band. The five main stones come with certs.

1 - 1.20 J SI2 (eyeclean) IGI retail- $7800
1 - .79 I SI1 (eyeclean) GIA retail - $3400
1 - .79 I SI1 (eyeclean) GIA retail - $3500
1 - .50 I SI1 (eyeclean) GIA retail - $1350
1 - .50 I SI1 (eyeclean) GIA retail - $1350
10 - .25 H SI1 (eyeclean) 18K size 5.25 eternity band custom made by Whiteflash retail - $6000

TCW - 6.28

The ring is appraised at over 23K. I'm willing to part with it for no less than 15K.

Thanks jewels2! It really is beautiful. I'm not sure I would part with it if the % fees for consignment were high. The jewelers I've spoken to were way too high. I'm going to look around further though

Hi, I just posted on your other thread! You actually are supposed to list the items for sale and then you post here and give the link so people can contact you.

I also recommend that you look up current new retail pricing to gauge what it would be worth new and then realize you'd maybe get 50-75% of that. You can start a new thread once you post it so my info won't be seen.

Just some examples:

1.2 J SI2's GIA Ex cut (yours is IGI so might not be the same): $4000-4900 (I used James Allen)

.79 I SI1 GIA Ex cut $2300-2500

.50 I SI1 GIA Ex cut $1000-1400

.25 H SI1 around $375 each

Prices went up during the time you were gone and have gone back down. Many of us have found that selling now means losing money. I am just thinking it will be hard to get $15k at this time. You never know, though! You can always ask Erica at Love Affair Diamonds what she thinks it might sell for and then go from there.

Thanks for the help diamondseeker! Good info! I was wondering how the transactions would take place if miraculously someone was indeed interested lol. I'm not in any real hurry so maybe I just keep it in the safe a little longer though
