I'm in the process of buying diamonds for a seven stone band. Would love some advice on the stones.

Should I go with seven .25 G-H SI1 or seven .25 H-I VS2 ?

They will be in a shared prong 14K white gold or possibly platinum setting. Also my ring will be size 9.5.

Thanks

What's the price difference?

Ten dollars difference. Also they will not be certified diamonds.

I'm am so stupid, I just realized I need to buy two more diamonds for my seven stone ring, which for some reason I was not realizing it.
So now I am thinking about going with a larger five stone ring or the .25 seven stone ring, either way the price will be close.
I am so over this, I could have bought a local completed ring for less than the cost I have in the stones I just sent back.

I think this is what you should do. Custom design is a big bag of unknowns, and so far you have not enjoyed your experience. There is definite merit to knowing exactly what you are getting before pulling out the plastic.

Do I want H&A diamonds?

I really need some help, it's between .25 stones and .30 stones, for sure 5 stones maybe even possibly 7.
Both are H&A G-H SI1.

Did you look at this link I posted in your other thread? This ring is amazing and is .26ct stones, I , on a 7.5 finger.

I am having a five stone made with .34ct stones. I have four I vs2 and one H si1. I wear a size 7.5.
If I didn't already have my diamonds bought and paid for I would probably switch to the seven stone. I asked BGD if seven .34ct would be too uncomfortable and they advised against it, so I'm staying with the five stone. But I really LOVE the ring in the above thread!

Either look will be stunning. You can't go wrong. I do think you should get the best cut you can. If there is significant savings with non certed stones then go that route, just make sure there is a return policy.

I did see the seven stone ring in the thread, it's very pretty. I found a few pictures to try to get an idea, however I do not know the exact diamond size of the rings in these pictures, so it doesn't help much.

These two pictures are the same the first one shows up close on my knuckle how a five stone band fits, so on my actual finger I think this would bug me.I feel like the finger coverage wouldn't cover, however .30 might work in a five stone.

Here are a few more pictures. I am pretty sure the second picture ring finger seven stone is 1.38 ct band.

I am not sure of the first picture size, but I do like the size of the five stone ring, if that was a seven stone I think it might be perfect for my chunky finger. Which I guess is pretty close to the second picture, so maybe seven .25 would be perfect not to big not to small.

I think I will go try these rings on again and make sure what size I want.

What size would you use for a seven stone ring if you didn't already have your stones?

I would get .25-.26ct for a seven stone, I color H&A. Basically exactly the same as Zestfully Bling. identical setting too. I can't imagine a more perfect combination & her pictures make me swoon. The perfect ring in my opinion. I think it would look very substantial on any finger size, but especially perfect for us larger finger gals.

Here are my options,

H&A G-H SI1 .25ct, .28 ct or .30ct

Non H&A G-H SI1 .25ct or .30ct

I would love to hear your thoughts and if you have pictures of small stones with and without H&A please share.

Went and compared sizes today, top ring is .33ct bottom is .25 ct.

Here are the same two rings with a .25ct eternity band in the middle to try to give me an idea of a seven stone band.
