I LOVED this ring - but I decided I wanted to give the pears to a friend, do something different with the gold, and that the unset EC wasn't something I was likely to use in a different project.

So here it is for sale!

As you can see, I paid $1604 for it, but am asking $1070 for it - 2/3 the original price. The ring has been worn twice, so the stone is in excellent condition. It's completely eye clean and a very pretty stone. Thread on LT forthcoming.

I see the photo and so sorry you are dismantling this ring. It is one of my favorites as it is beautiful but looks so easy to wear. I had it saved as an inspiration piece. boo hoo! I wish you were just selling the entire ring and that it was a 5.75 or 6!

I'm going to see if I can find a pair of pears........

Sorry, Lookinagain! I loved it also. But I've realized I have a bunch of diamond rings at this point, and I veer either to the larger diamond rings, or to plain bands. I also have larger fingers, so there's a sense of being proportional as well. The pears are going to a friend who has size 6 fingers, and they will look far better on her. She's making a similar sized ring, but she already has a center stone, so didn't need my EC. The gold from the ring has already been melted down, the pears have gone to her, and the EC is for sale!

I hope you get your version of this, tho! It was the most comfortable ring I've ever owned, and certainly the safest. I also loved the design, and I know at least one person replicated it with DK, but hers was in platinum. Very, very pretty.
